How high did Frank Williams go in the draft when he went in the early 2000's?

Do some of you guys just assume that because these guys who are not experts in anything, and make up a pre-draft analysis of players who they only saw games as much as every FAN of college basketball. Do you take their predictions as TRUTH. Wagner is not athletic to play the Power forward position and would get torched by many forwards in the league already. He has some skills at getting to his spot for a shot- His release is not quick/ he struggles with player's that play physical and is he LARRY BIRD no/ LUCA DONCIC heckeee no. 8th pick to who and AYO, HENRY, GARZA and maybe the guy out of Minnesota should be the best picks (from 13 to 27). Ayo is ready....he came back and played his best, improved his 3 pt.shot and he showed that he can get his shot off against bigger defenders.

Alan Griffin is a shooter, that can hit shots inside and out to 24 feet. The question is he makes bad decisions when he is guarded closely and forced to his left, he stops his dribble and forces his shot/he is not going to guard point guards that are quick his movement from side to side is not quick enough. But he still has a lot of ability to play, maybe PORTLAND OR ORLANDO might have a position for him. If not; I hope he comes back to Illinois and dominate with ANDRE AND THE ORANGEVILLE SHOOTING STARS! BRANDIN, MELENDEZ, PLUMMER AND GOODE4 SURE.

Ayo would be great in Detroit or PHOENIX, DENVER AND SAN ANTONIO.. He was a point guard in high-schools/ he has that hesitation step dribble-drive, he is very accurate on the corners(bank shots, using the baseline to his advantage in going to the defense and using the reverse shot against bigger defenders. Anyone remember Kerry Kittles, Larry Kenon, and the experience of playing on teams that Lost early in his career- he changed that the last 2 seasons and made PLAYER OF THE YEAR and won the most games of any BIG TEN TEAM.

New mock draft by Sam Vecenie at the Athletic has Ayo going #23 to the Lakers and Kofi going #54 to the Pacers (2nd round). By far the most reputable mock I've seen to have Kofi getting drafted. Any sense of whether this means he's picking up traction, or is this just an outlier?

(I am not linking because it is behind a paywall anyway)

Is that location ok for Ayo’s camp? THT

Mock drafts I've seen have a pretty wide range for Ayo. He could be just outside the lottery (CBS has him at 16), or deep in the first round (most have him in the 20s). Should be a nice payday for him --just a question of how nice.

I’ve been surprised Weiskamp hasn’t appeared on any mock draft lists. Elite shooter and should have enough size/athleticism to be an okay defender. I think he’s worth a second round pick anyway.

He played at Iowa. It automatically pushes someone down 10 spots.

So if he was late 2nd round. It pushed him out of the draft.

Tough break for the guy, but it’s life.

Also, he can suck it.

(Note: This post is laced with sarcasm. All except the last part)

Geez, the NBA not doing any favors for their free minor leagues (colleges) by having the withdrawal date so late in the summer. But then again, the Finals go into mid-June?

NCAA trying to get NIL rule done by July 1. Maybe so players can take into account in deciding whether to stay or go.
