That would be incredibly ironic for Kofi, the front runner for National Player of the Year, to get passed on by the NBA, while Giorgi, who sat for long periods of time because of too many short comings in his game, goes in the draft.
I think it's 2 different scenarios. Kofi wants guaranteed money. Giorgi wants a shot.

Kofi could have stayed in and he definitely would have been a 2nd round pick too. I think its also easy to forgot just how good Giorgi was his freshman year. The dude is good enough he would have started for most other schools in the country and he just accepted his role behind Kofi for 2 years.

I think definitely is an overstatement. He was in like 50% of mock drafts (maybe less) and didn't get a combine invite. That being said I think his odds were better than Giorgi, who most likely doesn't get drafted, but may get signed as an undrafted FA, which is probably why teams are giving him a look.
