Yea that's gonna be tough for a young team if Kofi doesn't come back. Good test for us!

Having Kofi back with Belo and maybe a stud transfer I keep hearing mentioned would be nice for this tournament. Otherwise, could be a tough go with UCLA and Baylor there.

I always find predictions for who's gonna be on the team a full 6+ months prior to the season even starting to be funny. There was a real probable chance Kofi DMW and Fraizer all didn't return and Plummer wasn't even a name we knew. Our roster could really swing one way or the other.

When you mention stud transfer, what area do you think would be our biggest need beside some experience?

At least Maui got Giorgi on the map w his dancing contest victory and very respectable showing against Gonzaga. Of course Trent's hero ball in the 2nd half was tremendous and made it super close--the energy in that Lahaina gym was somethin else... The next game was close too until THT got hot playing revenge ball... but yes, too early for Ayo to shine...

Last time they were in Lost Wages I travelled the 1200 miles, only to watch them lose - took my whole fam damily to that one... I went 1800 miles to Arizona 2 years ago (3? - I'm getting old) only to watch them lose to UA... Earlier this season, I travelled 1800 miles to Milwaukee only to watch them lose... I can't possibly go to this game...

Pretty much my same thought so we’re in section 16. Surprising is that 2 days later family from Champaign were able to get seats right next to mine in 16. Baylor doesn’t seem to have a good traveling fan base unlike our fan base. For Sunday’s game I was able to get section 15.

I think the backcourt will struggle without Frazier and Plummer. That is why they need a stud guard to transfer in my opinion. You can't be relying on Epps.

We’ll have Belo, Podz and the young guns so I would agree that another transfer guard is needed, maybe even two. Maybe BU will use Grandison differently and if Hutch is still around the same with him. In time I think we’re going to very happy with Epps and Harris. Just need to get thru next year.

This is as good of a place as any to put this for now, but doesn't the Big Ten lose a TON of talent this offseason? If Kofi were to return, we would be projected near the top of the league yet again. I could definitely see a 2003-type season, where there is a bit of a changing of the guard mixed with a couple of holdovers from the previous "regime" (Kofi, Grandison and Curbelo). It might take us a bit to find our groove (anyone remember that Memphis loss in 2003?), but by the end of the year we could actually have one of the better lineups in the Big Ten.
