This is as good of a place as any to put this for now, but doesn't the Big Ten lose a TON of talent this offseason? If Kofi were to return, we would be projected near the top of the league yet again. I could definitely see a 2003-type season, where there is a bit of a changing of the guard mixed with a couple of holdovers from the previous "regime" (Kofi, Grandison and Curbelo). It might take us a bit to find our groove (anyone remember that Memphis loss in 2003?), but by the end of the year we could actually have one of the better lineups in the Big Ten.
That Vegas MTE is gonna help our development as well.

Yes, Iowa will lose Murray and Bohannon. Wisky will lose Davis, Indy loses some, Mich will lose Diabate and possibly Houstan, Rutgers loses a lot. OSU will lose Liddell and Arends and their freshman wing and PU will lose Williams, Ivey and possibly Edey. Its going to be a step down for many. We will see what happens over the summer. Lots of changing of the mind and transfers.

We’ll have Curbelo, Epps, Hawkins, Payne and Dainja at pg and big.

Pods, Goode, RJ, Harris and Rodgers at wings.

My dream is to see any other open schollies filled with 6’5+ shooters.

And Curbelo needs to be able to pull 3s off the dribble when his defender goes under screens.

A lot of ifs there, but I think we’d be able to weather the storm of transition with those things and stay ahead of the other schools.

We’ll have Belo, Podz and the young guns so I would agree that another transfer guard is needed, maybe even two. Maybe BU will use Grandison differently and if Hutch is still around the same with him. In time I think we’re going to very happy with Epps and Harris. Just need to get thru next year.
I have confidence Bello, RJ, and a healthy Hutch will be a very good back court.if Jake stays put him at the 3 over one if those two. I hope Podz and hopefully freshman pop. As our team improves each year it will be more difficult for a freshman to emerge. This year was even more so with the 6th year covid super seniors. I still expect a transfer to come in and challenge RJ and Hutch to start at the 2 or 3 spot. I fully expect our starting minute guys at the 2,3, and 4 spots to be longer, stronger, and more athletic next season. I'm hoping for more size and proved shooting from the 4 next year. That seems to be the plan based on the guys BU has added the past couple seasons. I feel we can compete in Vegas especially hope we can since I already got second row seats!

Yes, agreed. With the right returnees and one solid transfer I think we have a chance once again for a Double Bye in the Big Ten Tourney.

BU‘s def building a team where players can play multiple positions in the middle, 2-4, and if Kofi return’s and Belo stays healthy that should provide the anchor at the 1 & 5. Anyways, sounds like you got some good seats.
