If you have NBATV, Kofi is playing!!

40 minute combine game. I'm just recording it since the Finals game is starting.
Just turned it on. Must have missed him. How well did he play?

I'm just recording it and will watch later (watching the Finals game now). I know he's done pretty well in prior games. I think he averaged 15 and 11 or something like that in a couple games a few days ago.

It still surprises me he's not on draft boards. You rarely find his combination of athleticism and power in a 7 footer. He's got good hands around the basket and can rebound like a mofo. Very coachable too --if he needs better defense on pick and rolls, I'd like to think that's fixable.

As mentioned, defense and PnR is his biggest hindrance to the league right now. With that said, I'd like to think that Kofi's production at the combine opened some eyes. Even in limited minutes with other primary scoring options he put up double-doubles. It just seems like he is talented enough to be safe pick as a backup big in the league with a relatively high floor.

I think there's basically no chance Kofi doesn't get at least a 2-way contract, my sneaky suspicion (well complete guess really) is he'll be a reverse Ayo and get drafted when he's not really projected to be.. they may even end up being taken at a similar spot. What he has is size that you just can't teach and something that will never not be at a premium, and with the college production... I feel like there's gotta be at least 1 team out there that thinks they can make that work and mold him into at least a serviceable backup big.

Great news for Trent! The ABA is one of Europe’s tier 1 leagues.

Great to hear Trent found a landing spot. Have things changed and the ABA is a top tier league in Europe? (It is Tier 1 of the Balkan leagues.) I'd expect it to be behind Euroleague, FIBA, and Liga ACB at a minimum, and maybe behind LNB (France) or SuperLeague (Turkey).

You got it right. It’s still behind those leagues you mentioned but a very good league all the same.
