I think this is a good coverage for Kofi's draft prospect. The guy is not really high on him and think he is marginal but I do think he has good points.

1. He needs to NOT get killed in drop coverage. --> Absolutely. No way he can switch completely but drop coverage is often good enough. Celtics plays a lot drop coverage against Curry, arguably the best 3 point shooter in the league, with Al. However, let's say hypothetically Steph drives on Kofi after the p&r in the drop coverage situation. Can Kofi handle it?

2. He has to improve on passing read. --> That is for sure.

3. Get even better on rebound and shot blocking.

Personally, I think mid range out to 15-18 ft will also be very useful. But he probably has to do well on those things above first.

That might change after game 4

I mostly ignore the mocks because I don’t know which of these people have any track record to prove it means anything other than click bait. Is there anyplace that does track the prognosticators accuracy? I think someone had Kofi at 29-30 last year.

Kofi can provide solid rebounding and inside scoring. Think Dwight Howard type player. Probably not NBA starter material if he does not improve his 3 point shot but definitely could help some teams from the bench. And of course there is always the NFL or WWE. I would love somebody try Kofi at defensive end. He has a fantastic spin move already.

Howard is a very good ring protector and a great rebounder. With almost like 20 years in difference, Kofi needs to be nearly that good to have a long enough NBA career.

Saw recent poll to rate top 5 NBA centers...candidates: russel, wilt, jabar, shaq, Olajuwon....

Ironic that Kofi is probably closer in skills to those than modern centers, ...modern ones didn't show on poll.

Kofi is a coachable player and great teammate. I think he'll get his break from some team...he reserves it and shown amazing work ethic.

Appropriately so, I might add if you're talking "all-time".......1. Russell 2. Wilt 3. Jabbar 4. Akeem 5. Someone other than Shaq -- maybe Moses Malone? Karl Malone? Patrick Ewing? Tim Duncan?

I love Kofi but he is nowhere close to being as skilled as those guys. Could you ever see him pulling the move at :50 let alone that casually?

Fonz is a 6 ft catch and shoot guard who can't play defense, and will be 25 when the season starts.

Love what he did here and will remember him fondly, but he has no shot of playing in the NBA.
The kid can really shoot though, so I won’t rule him out just yet. I could see a team take a chance on him in some capacity
