2024 Chicago White Sox

I think both teams have a LONG WAYS TO GO with the money part of this .

The Sox at least have a realistic choice for a location . The Bears have many hurdles to cross before they even have a chance of building on the lakefront

Yes, money is the key. But this is Chicago, where the Bears rule. They are arguably the most popular sports franchise in town. Baseball is split between North and South. Bulls and Blackhawks have great fans but numbers won't match the Bears. And the Fire is still building its fan base.

Since the Bears are the sports heart of the City... they will get this done one way or another. People will demand it. As for the Sox... that's gonna be more difficult with who owns them and the bad shape the franchise is in right now and with public money not being so eager to join in.

I’m honestly getting concerned for the well-being of these Sox guys. After all, they may be lousy ballplayers but they’re still human beings.

No person can take this kind of losing for this long. It wears on the body and soul. And when one is run down like that... not good things can happen to them.

None of these guys are used to losing like this. And sure, while they’re each making boatloads of money they are also publically embarrassing themselves to the whole World. And these guys have wives and kids and families that no doubt are being affected.

We know at some point the law of averages will make this level of losing stop. They will still lose and lose a lot... but things do work to level off over time. But this will be one big season of embarrassment for all concerned. And no doubt some of the Sox are hoping to get traded to get away pronto from this South Side Toxic Waste Dump stirred up by a man who spends his days counting his many coins.

Sox Nation... we can hate all this losing. But let’s try to send a little good will to these lost soul ballplayers who don’t know where they find themselves and how to get out of this toxic brew. For us, this is a pastime. For them, this is their lives.

You forgot to mention the Sky. You know how HUGE the WNBA is now. :ROFLMAO:

Sox get their third straight win and look good doing it.

How about we throw out everything that’s happened until the last three games and start the Season all over?

This is what happens when hitters... hit. And pitchers... pitch. See? This game is easy!

splitter

and not Nebraska
Finally, been fun to watch Sox games. Time for Jerry to put up some $$$$ and build up this team and get the 78 built too.

White Sox History Watch

The 1932 Season for the White Sox is so far the worst single season for the franchise. Finishing 49-102 for a winning (?) percentage of .325.

Here’s how the 2024 White Sox compare to that dreadful 1932 team...

After 31 Games

1932 – 10 wins, 21 losses

2024 – 6 wins. 25 losses

So the current White Sox at this point in the Season are 4 games worse than the worst Sox team of all time.

As the old limbo song goes... 'How L-O-W can you GO...'.
