Please make the right moves Poles! I can’t say that I love Caleb Williams(Kyler Murray vibes for me), but he will be the pick, so I hope he dominates.

He’s 3 inches taller than Murray and undoubtedly a better passer. Caleb is the best QB prospect I’ve seen since I can remember. I say this as a Packer fan who doesn’t want to see him twice a year for the next decade plus.

I have been looking at a lot of mock drafts the last couple of days and the consensus of all of those drafts have Newton @ # 21 to the Dolphins..........would be a steal for them to get him that low.........JMHO.......

Yes I watched a lot of him... He’s made some of the best throws I’ve ever seen in college. I personally think he’s gonna be a star. Time will tell.
Top of the scale arm talent for sure. Here's hoping!

I'm not bought into the Williams hype either. Before last year he was looked at as a Luck/Lawrence level prospect, but I just don't see it. Faded in the big games and I have questions on if he can win over an NFL locker room.

I like that Williams wasn't leisurely standing behind one of the best O-lines in CFB, throwing to whichever of his receivers was most wide open.

His defense wasn't holding the other team's score down, so he had to make plays.

Guys who win 45-10 without breaking a sweat fail often in the NFL.

I agree more imposing physically. I sincerely wonder about the intangibles more than the arm strength. Talent will take you some of the way, but intangibles get you to the top. I disagree about him being a near can’t miss QB, but we shall see.

Not sold on Caleb Williams from a mental perspective, but would rather take him than the odd fixation of several Bear fans and journalists J.J. McCarthy.
Agreed. McCarthy is local, and people always get fixated with the hometown hero dream, but pure delusion unless Poles is such a believer that he will risk his job, get a boatload of picks and move down to pick McCarthy.

I could understand picking McCarthy at a lower number in the first IF Harbaugh was the Bears coach. otherwise , nah

JJ is the type of guy you get fired for as a GM for taking when the Vikings move up to get him.

Not sold on Williams either but think the upside is worth the pick - if he flames out so be it.

Huge opportunity to get your QB and Left tackle of the future! I have faith in Poles, regardless of the moves he makes (or doesn't make.)
