Madubuike was one of the comps I saw for Newton so it would make sense.
With the 27th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals select Darius Robinson, DE, Missouri.
Chiefs swapping picks with Bills.
I post them as DE on this thread even if they're listed as EDGE.
All good, I said "they" because NFL.com did the same thing. There were four EDGE positions listed before Robinson went.
There have been quite a few defensive linemen taken already, counting outside guys.
Does any team left really need an interior deal, lineman, though? I’m wondering if Newton falls to the second round…

His foot injury is the reason he's dropping like he has been. Yeah, it would have been great for him to get picked in the 1st round (and he's not the only player with a 1st round grade that hasn't gotten picked tonight) but he'll be fine wherever he ends up.
Whoever gets Newton gets the steal of the entire draft
