I love this. sometimes a bad team just needs a great and a reset. some of my favorite memories are of the 99 Illinois team going on run in the big ten tourney after having a miserable regular season. it sparked a great run of years for Illinois and gave me and the program hope!
I also favor having all teams participate (though my support for this is a bit weaker now that we have such a large conference...), but it should be noted that nobody has ever actually FINISHED one of these miracle runs to win the BTT. There have been close calls (such as our 1999 and 2008 teams making a run to Sunday before losing), but they've never won it all. I think that is now even more difficult with the Wednesday setup.

it's not easy to win 3 games in a row, let alone 5. it hasn't happened in the big ten, yet but UConn had their crazy run of 4 games in 4 days and then went on to win the NCAA so it's possible. uconn is also just an anomaly in every sense

The teams played 20 BigTen games in order to get to last 15. The regular season has to count for something.

I mean, it's fine if a bit boring. I'll take it over one of those loud, overwrought designs like Oregon has.

I noticed Kendall Gill is in the picture. Does he work for TIAA?
No. We watched this live in the Atrium. This was the unveiling of the floor plan for the B1G Tournament, and Kendall was representing the B1G Network, I think.

Looking for experiences with purchasing tickets to the tournament. Using the United Center/Ticketmaster site shows the only available tickets are in the last 5-10 rows at ends of the court. Literally no other seats available. The ticket services like StubHub and SeatGeek have similar, with a few more really expensive seats along the sideline. I am surprised by the lack of availability overall- who has taken all of the tickets?

I am hoping to give a pair of all session tickets as a Christmas present, but should I wait until closer to the tournament, go ahead and purchase now (and if so, use a service or Ticketmaster)?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

P.S. I did check with the team and I am not a big enough I Fund donor to score seats in the Illinois block!
