The difference is we have DaMonte and Trent to shut Davis down (5-19) . Purdue does not.

Also while Purdue has 2 bigs they are not as good offensively as Kofi. Kofi destroyed WI 37 pts (16-19) vs WI. Last night Edey had 17 (6-11) and Williams 6 (2-8)

Match ups are everything this time of year, that is why we want to avoid the 4/5 line if possible.

We have a very favorable match up against Wisconsin, not so much against Purdue. I will say though if Hawkins could play the 5 when Williams is in the game we may have a lot better chance. That allows us to not be so reliant on Kofi and the officials taking him out of the game.

We need more q1 wins so last night is not all bad as we at present look like we will line up with MSU, Purdue then Wisconsin in the BTT finals. We also have a q1 with Iowa. If we could somehow win all those games I find it hard to believe we would not be the highest seeded team from the BIG and that would mean the Midwest path.
