Other than the NCAA tournament, the Saturday before is my favorite day of the season. You have smaller conferences galore trying to get the automatic bid, and then the big conference teams trying to get into their tournament finals. What other day of the year would I be watching Vermont vs UMBC?
According to Jerry Palm, you also are scouting out the Illini's first-round opponent in a Thursday game in Buffalo.
Vermont? They’ve got a nice team. Kofi would eat them up — think tallest player is 6-8 (happens to be from IL). Their guards are bigger than ours it looks like.

Iowa definitely does not have the frontcourt toughness that Indiana has.
They sure have it on my wings and in the backcourt. They are wildly explosive.
Iowa plays zone and shoots a ton of threes. Still a bad matchup for Indiana even though they got off to a hot start.
I'm not talking about scoring. Rabraca is a waste of space and P-Mac is a finesse guy.
Watching St Louis vs Davidson. Forgot Francis Okoro is on STL. Hasn’t done anything in this game, but looks like he’s been playing pretty well of late.

Would not mind seeing the Hoosiers win today. Not that I am an Iowa hater, just a more legit team who can't shoot but play hard on defense. Iowa does too much whining.

Rafferty, Nance, and Hill as announcers have questioned the officiating.... Looks like we aren't the only ones who feel the B1G officiating is below average at absolute best.
This Keegan Murray kid is alright.

There was some crazy stat on the BTN telecast yesterday that they haven't been to the semis since 2003, when we beat them.
[EDIT: I must have misheard it; they were in the semis in 2006 and 2013.]
