Rumor on the MI boards - Isaiah Livers broke a bone in is foot and is done for the year. Emphasis on the word rumor, but the post cites Livers' parents.

I hope he is ok. The pandemic has cost the players a lot of experiences, this would be painful for any player.

One game for us to watch today is Georgetown they are currently right behind Minnesota in net at 76- a win would knock out Minnesota from top 75 and take away a quad 1 win from us on selection Sunday

we need all the Q1 wins we can get to move up from the #4 overall seed

I'd speculate that Livers planned to play pro somewhere next year. I wonder if he's back with scUM due to this injury.

he played the whole season
his value as a pro somewhere is established
he’s not going to give up a somewhat decent paycheck & risk a real bad injury , to what , earn a trophy ?

Feel really sorry for Livers......Going through the travails this year with the covid pandemic, I wish, for him, a speedy recovery, as i know this is heartbreaking news for him and his family...
I don't wish any injury to anyone playing competitive sports, as I have went through injuries myself in my playing days and it is devastating to not be out there with your teammates trying to win an event....

sad news......

don't know the nature of his injury. didn't Dee Brown come back for his senior year due to a foot injury?

Bodies are dropping in Indianapolis. Man, especially this season when we're just now getting fans in the building, it really sucks for Livers and Young. Both guys with injury histories getting knocked out right when the games start to matter

You are right, he wants to collect a check and not risk injury. He will make a decent living somewhere.

Josh Fulkerson, a senior center for Tennessee, was knocked out of at least the SEC tournament with a concussion and facial injuries due to 2 elbows from Florida's Omar Payne. Sounds similar to Ayo's injury. Feel bad for all these kids getting injured now.

I didn’t like how may people I saw slipping and sliding in the games so far. Trent’s double slip early in our game too. Wonder if that court has any special antibacterial coatings on it or something?

Livers is a big loss. Not sure he is more valuable than Young but at least Young will be back for NCAA.

You’d have to think he may be out for the season with this being his second concussion in less than 3 weeks. I feel bad for him, but that seems like the smart thing to do.
its likely that O$U can find a Dr that will sign off on him playing sooner rather than later.
