Wow. Refs really blew that Seton Hall game. Feel bad for those kids. Totally ruined a competitive game.

Agreed. That flagrant foul call was complete crap. It effectively ended the game. What a horrible decision.

Disagree. The foul was unquestionably a push in the back which was exactly the definition of a Flagrant 1 they put up on the screen. The rules don't make any allowance for the time of the game when it occurs.

No the foul was a hit to the back and then he accidentally tripped him. If the trip had been intentional then I would agree. If there was a push, it was minimal.
Disagree. It is a common end of the game foul. The fact that the Arkansas player tripped over his own feet made it appear worse. I can kind of see it if then didn't have replay but with the video review they make that call? I know technically there was "no play on the ball" but how many times have you seen players just wrap guys up to get the foul call at the end or put two hands on a guy just like the guy from Seton Hall. There was nothing excessive done on that play.

I don't think that the trip had anything to do with the call. The SH player pushed the Arkansas player in the back without trying to go for the ball. That's a Flagrant 1.
If he had just grabbed him then that's a different story and not a Flagrant 1.

I honestly don't think it was much of a push. I do think it is a play that is usually called a common foul. Oh well, we should agree to disagree and enjoy the rest of the game.s

This SMU team is how I want our teams to play. Any coach that delivers that movement and passing and effort and team IQ is fine with me.

I can't fathom why there wasn't a timeout by SMU with 10 seconds on the clock and the ball in the front court. They had THREE timeouts!
Yeah. 3 timeouts. If it's not smooth in transition I think you gotta take one. Their spacing was all messed up. I'm sure they practice that situation everyday, but I think he's gotta recognize it's not in rhythm.

I've never seen them play as bad as they did in that 2nd half. Ugggggh.
The zone really bothered them. Too bad bcuz I enjoy watching SMU play. USC is a fun team to watch tho too. Very similar.
Yep. Jank could've definitely drawn something better up, especially since they were so tired and lost against the zone.
Archie/Marshall is a GREAT college b-ball game. Confident aggression with both teams.
