Then how do you judge it? This is the 2nd year in a row that the conference is getting it's clocked cleaned. Not one team seeded #1 or #2. These aren't traits of a great conference.
I agree we are on a path that leads to the bolded, but I wouldn't make that declaration just yet.

It is hard to believe we lost to this Indiana team a week ago. Play in 12 seed aside, they do not look like a team that belongs in the tournament.
I hear yiu. That loss was more about what we didn't do than what they did...

Hey guys. NO PROBLEM! Kevin and the crew got 9 teams in the big dance. All is well!!!!!

That is the main goal every year.....something needs to change. Run the league to ready teams for the tournament, not tip the scales to get a bunch of teams just enough wins to get in.

In regards to the Iowa loss, here's a piece of trivia you could probably win a bar bet with.

Last Hawkeyes coach to take team to the 2nd weekend?...Tom Davis.

They haven't made it to the Sweet Sixteen this century. Last time they made it was in 1999 which was Davis' final season as head coach. They were a 5 seed in the West regional and win in the first two rounds in Denver vs. UAB and Arkansas. They lost to eventual national champion UConn in the Sweet Sixteen in Phoenix.

Well, add Rutgers losing to ND to the list of ridiculousness. They beat the entire top half of the conference.
ND finished third in the ACC, Rutgers finished sixth in the big, and should have won, imo they were a better team.
