I have Arkansas in my bracket Final Four.
What do you mean?Is Jalen Rose OK?
Unless I completely misheard him, he referred to Illinois being picked 14th in the conference and I'm like, did I miss something? What do you mean?
Perhaps so. Texas also has a big media market and Gonzaga is Gonzaga but it's cool to get a CBS gameEh, we've still got a big enough following, especially in the #3 media market in the country, that it's not a surprise to see us on CBS
Well, Duke almost lost to a 16 seed although Siena teams in years past have not been 16 seeds so I don't know if this team was underseeded or what happened there? Houston might have scoring lulls but it's not as bad as in past years. Flemings is definitely a different type of guard than what they've ever had before. Their guard play is what makes them a legit Final 4 threat between Flemings, Sharp, and Uzan. That's why I see them beating Florida. Their guards are better than Florida's.They have too many instances where they really struggle to score for me to put them in that category. They are a massive problem defensively and play HARD, but I’ve seen too many instances of them losing the plot offensively for me to put them in the same tier as the three you mentioned.
Oh wow really? I expect that kind of mistake from Kenny or Charles not Jalen. Jalen has at least been following college bball all year lol.Unless I completely misheard him, he referred to Illinois being picked 14th in the conference and I'm like, did I miss something?
That's uncle high knees thank you very much!!!Pretty crazy that High Knees is assigned to the Michigan State game. I've commented multiple times this year (for Illinois v. MSU, and other MSU games) that High Knees seems to be the most charitable ref in terms of buying Fears' flopping.
Prancer is Exhibit A for showing that prime officiating assignments are more about who you know rather than your ability.Pretty crazy that High Knees is assigned to the Michigan State game. Or, you know, players need to be disciplined. I would assume (not always a great idea) that the play or set or action did not call for 3 guys in the lane with a 4th driving the ball. Either he went rogue (afrer watching some of his antics I can believe this) or those players lost their minds (less likely to me all 3 were wrong at the same time). I'm guessing they were in the middle of some screening action (the called play you wanted) and he went and tried to do it on his own. That's why you run a play. A play specifically designed to clear the lane if your goal is to a specific player to the rim.
Houston is going to be a tough out. I have a hard time seeing Illinois beating them if they get past VCU. Houston is the same caliber as Michigan/Arizona/Duke in my mind.
Talent-wise they're right up there with those 3 - there's a reason they were preseason #2. And Sampson's a very good coach.Houston is going to be a tough out. I have a hard time seeing Illinois beating them if they get past VCU. Houston is the same caliber as Michigan/Arizona/Duke in my mind.
