Reminder that the SEC was effectively Alabama miles ahead of "everyone else", and that "everyone else" was basically interchangeable.

Arkansas did run off like 12 straight SEC wins. They're a legit team, but would rather have them as the 3 or even 4 seed in our region.

9 in a row, including 4 straight over Missouri, Alabama, Florida and LSU (last 3 at home). That effectively took them from 5th in EM to 2nd, but it has still been Alabama lapping the field, and the field from Arkansas to Kentucky/South Carolina is surprisingly similar.

I also feel like all the 3 seeds are worse than all the 4 seeds this season, so I am very low on all the 3 seeds getting out of the first weekend (except Texas, I guess)..

Arkansas ends the half on a 17-0 run to take a halftime lead.

It was 12 straight in SEC play. They lost to Oklahoma State in the middle.

You will be unable to convince me that Oklahoma State is not also in the SEC.

Rather, I missed that was OSU. But the overall point was Alabama was +0.19 in SEC play, and then Arkansas, LSU, Florida, Missouri, Kentucky, Auburn, Mississippi State, Ole Miss AND South Carolina somehow all ended up between +0.05 and -0.02 in conference. It was a weird conference.

Metrics had a very hard time figuring out if Colgate was any good this year, because they not only played no non-conference games, they only played half the teams in their conference, including missing the other 2 good teams in it.

I didn't realize Colin Castleton transfered to Florida from Michigan. He's having a good game for UF so far. I think he's at 14 and 10.

Last 2 minutes close game warning for Florida-Virginia Tech, currently 59-56 with 1:48 to play.

I don't understand settling for 2 when down 3 with under a possession left. Now you still need to foul and have less time.
