I know you're making a comment about how our board flips out at 3s, but Alabama has a very good offense (#3 in AdjO, though there's a gap between them and us/Purdue)

The biggest irony is that they're even worse at the thing that is our biggest weakness: defense, specifically against Q1A (we're #100, they're #124):

There are people who complain about BU not having a Plan B, and who also think Oats is a better coach.

Oats is a great coach, but he has WAY less flexibility and subtlety about the way his teams play possession-to-possession, game-to-game, year-to-year than BU does. They do one thing and if it doesn't work the answer is do it better.

Holy sh@t...I was about to post a pointing and laughing .gif at Bama.....looked back up and they are up 10?

This tourney might need a straight jacket!

If Jefferson is seriously injured for ISU then Alabama is the only team in the Midwest regional that can heat Michigan IMO. Maybe SLU is they get crazy hot from 3.

I don’t think the ISU group is optimistic about Jefferson. I’m listening while at work, and the Cyclone broadcast team does not sound happy despite being up 35. Major blow for the Cyclones.

Surprised there isn't more neck injuries with all the head snapping back all these guys do.

Eh, Coby White seems to be okay doing it as much as he does.

I think A&M gives Houston a run for their money.

For as much as people on here have talked about a potential game against Houston in Houston, A&M is only about a 2 hour drive to Houston.
I didn't realize Herb Sendek was Santa Clara's coach. That guy has been around a looooooooong time.

He just got his 600th career win in the WCC tournament semis.

With Miami OH's loss, KenPom has them partway back to where they were before the tournament: #93 -> #89 -> #91

I'm not complaining about them getting in over Auburn, and I get the desire to give a non-P5 a chance to prove itself. But there were 12 non-P5 teams ahead of them. SD State and New Mexico obviously have the strongest case to feel slighted. Both of them would have been favored over SMU (who is somewhere around #64 factoring in the injury)
