Was he? He’s trying to walk it back now, but regardless it is at bare minimum in extremely poor taste and another bad look for a guy who has made a career of that sort of nonsense. He’s the head coach and he is paid to be accountable for the team and the staff’s performance.

During the first half the network had their gratuitous interview with the PV coach. Something like "What are you going to do to close this gap?". The answer was "We're going to need a little help from the Lord"

So either there are a ton of Furman fans at this Furman-UConn game, or there’s some pretty solid UConn hate watching going on for everyone not there for UConn. Much louder for Furman, love it.

Furman…the nation turns its lonely eyes to you
This one is turning out to be fairly interesting. I just find it fascinating how an entire team can just all of a sudden get the yips from behind the line after being outstanding from back there earlier in the season.
