*in the one tournament game he lost

Dude was legend almost all other times.
Yeah, my comment came out wrong.

What I meant was: It makes me sad for Ayo that he didn’t get to experience that kind of moment last year, when we all knew that was what he was capable of.

No shade on Ayo.

Oh, yeah. For sure. Illinois fans got to see it all year (and the year before), but he didn't get to showcase it when everyone was watching.

I think his rookie highlights have made up for that a tad bit.

Arizona had this game back under control. In hand. Just pass around and then draw fouls. Instead they're being careless and shooting quick threes? Madmen.

Still can’t help but think we would be balling if grandi was in normal rotation. Try calibrating a machine without a key gear. We were missing Frazier (not the same since with pink eye) and grandi at the same time. Grace needs to be exercised here. This was a machine that never ran to its full potential yet COACH U kept it together despite all the hiccups, starts, stops, suspensions (total NCAA bs), and sheer bad luck. We need to step back and enjoy what we had vs what we think we should have had - it was taped together all year. But I’ll take it!! We also need to spend more time reinforcing the good vs the Not so good. Am I frustrated- absolutely as I expect more from a couple key pieces with 100s of games under belt - but these young adults give us an opportunity to be “kids” as we ride the rollercoaster of sport. Thank God for these young men and let’s thank them for their loyalty to the program and for caring about the outcome.

Calling people too short is apparently the thing to do in this tournament, lol.

Side note... I want to know more about this "Big Eddie" and why I haven't heard of him before

Actually, MI will likely lose to Villanova, so ....

I think the best upgrade the NCAA can get is a BIG 4K display

I have better displays in my apt than the NCAA in their multi billion $ tournaments
