There's no effing way that was a foul. Come on, zebras.
That was one of the worst calls in tournament history. It is 2024, no human should be making calls - we have AI.Samford just got jobbed on that block.
It’s 2024 not 1950, need to get our act together and use technology properly. That was one of the most iconic calls in tournament history - AI needs to take over soon.It is clear game changing missed calls like the one we just saw which makes me wish that a coach had a challenge in college basketball.
These refs have a hard job, and in real time I thought there was no way that the block was clean...I was very wrong.
Not so sure. Gonzaga is kind of ho hum this year, too.The good news is Gonzaga’s gonna dog walk these
I hear you, but be careful for what you wish. By the letter of the rule there is a foul or traveling on virtually every play. If AI refs call it to the book, the game will become unwatchable/unplayable.It’s 2024 not 1950, need to get our act together and use technology properly. Yes, but remember, Samford still had a chance to score even after that terrible call and they didn't get it done. At the end of the day, they were down 22 pts so they have nobody to blame but themselves. They just came up a bit short there at the endA high major referee just decided an NCAA Tournament game. Wow.
Being down 3 after a made free throw and the defense has a chance to set is very different than being down 1 in a fast break opportunity with an opposing team’s player on the ground behind the play.Yes, but remember, Samford still had a chance to score even after that terrible call and they didn't get it done. I think everyone thought Samford was going to fold like McNeese did and to their credit, they just kept grinding and coming after them
But with McCullar out for the tournament and Dickinson playing injured, I like Mark Few's chances to get his team to executeNot so sure. Gonzaga is kind of ho hum this year, too.
I hate Duke and UNC way more.I hate Kansas so freakin much.
