They're doing their hardest to replicate Inside the NBA ever since they brought Chuck and Kenny on to do March Madness. Doesn't fit in my opinion.

You would think VCU are 89 Bulls. The tournament central host can't get enough VCU.

It looks like Houston initially tried to get a waiver to play in the South regional while also hosting but was denied by the NCAA so the Harris County-Houston Sports Authority took the lead on which local school would handle the host duties, which included logistics and behind-the-scenes responsibilities. That's how they ended up with Rice as the host.

Again, that sounds like Houston (and Samscum) and their political base circumvented the rule…

Serious question for you (and anyone else who is ticked about this)...would you have felt any differently if it was us potentially against A&M, especially when you factor in that their campus is only about 2 hours from the Toyota Center?
