To be honest, I'm not all that worried about playing Florida.

I get it. I understand all of that. I'm just not able to overcome the basest instincts in my reptilian brain that have programed me to hate Iowa under all circumstances.

My mind is in a pretzel thinking about playing Iowa or Nebby in the elite 8. Or god forbid one of them beating Houston

Fran off at Penn. Sons gone. I can stay at BigTen homer and cheer for Iowa. Hate them again next season.
Refs certainly not helping Iowa

Well...I don't hate Iowa...or Indiana...or Wisconsin. I truly do not hate any other schools and their programs. But there is definitely a ladder of respect that is earned. All athletes...or rather most....or worthy of respect as opponents and ooaches who make winning hard but worthwhile. They are no different than the schools whose teams I pull to win. They play hard, fair, and try to play their best.

That said, it goes without saying that it is OK to join me in hating all things Michigan....the slimiest of all slime balls. Play on.

Iowa making it farther in the tourney than Illinois is a possibility just saying. Things happen but that’s not good.

Iowa’s good big man is on the bench, the guy they have in now is not up to the task.
