It's funny, we may all have our differences on so many Illini topics, but one that unites us all ( besides our love of all things Illini) is our hatred for Bruce Pearl.

Warms the cockles of my cold, cold heart.

On Rru tv the commentator said UConn won’t have as difficult game with Duquesne still in it. He forgot Illini. Who is that knuckle head.

Something I take away from this tournament: There are always a contingent of self-identified purists who say that NIL was the death of college basketball. Most of us said it was just bringing what's been going on for many decades above board. Watching this tournament, it feels like it's as wild and interesting as ever, even if the most likely outcome is one of the elite programs wins the championship. Lotta stories along the way...
With NIL and the transfer portal, I’ve found myself watching way more games and rooting for a wide variety of teams. It’s added a new element that I really enjoy.

In years past when the Big Ten struggled a lot of media questioned the strength of the league

The worse year the Big Ten I remember was 2021 OSU and PU as a 2 and 4 seed lost. We lost in the second round along with Iowa who was a 2 seed. With that year the Big Ten at least got to the 2nd round

I don’t think anyone thought Yale or Oakland were underseeded

Allick has missed at least three bunnies at the rim. The way A&M is scoring at will, Nebraska can't afford these point blank misses. Or of course, maybe play some defense. They are on pace to give up almost 125 points!
