This FAU team is fun!!!
I had to rewind just now on DVR to see... the big center for Tennessee is hammering people left and right. Completely laid out an FAU player with a forearm right before the TV timeout... it wasn't even a basketball play.
Edit: They called a flagrant, but the TV broadcast didn't even show the replay that looked worst... I'm wondering if the refs spotted it.

FAU is starting to clock watch and manage the game vs playing it. They've been free and easy for 35 minutes. You can see them tightening up.
I have a lot more faith in Gonzaga being in striking distance than Tennessee right now
I like how FAU is built. 3-4 guard lineups and one big who rebounds and defends. Ideal for college basketball.

Well, with this tournament display, can we say that UCLA is really acclimating themselves to the Big Ten nicely?
I LOVE Brad and respect him for everything but there is literally nothing on his resume that says we should assume he gets to this level.

UCLA is Big Ten ready. That's for sure.
11+ minute basket drought - they will fit right in.
We should just look at the 2005 Illini or 2021 Baylor as the perfect roster construction for college basketball and try to mimic it every year, because it really is. We might never find another Dee, Deron, Luther etc. in a given year but we can find guys with similar playing styles and builds.
Ideal starting lineup should have:
-3 quick guards who can pass, dribble and shoot. And preferably hold their own defensively, but the offense is most important.
-A wing who does a little bit of everything, and hopefully can shoot well too.
-A mobile big who can grab boards, pass out, and play defense
