Predictions - KSU and Michigan. KSU on the strength of its defense, and Michigan on the strength of its 3-point shooting.

Who do I want? Ramblers and Florida State. Who wouldn't want to see either an 11 or 9 seed make the natty?

What an unlikely list of seeds to be playing for a spot in the FF.
Great year for the tourney, sustaining the Cinderella image of CBB.
I'm going to root for the two devils I know, Bruce and scUM.

I would love to see bruce in another FF. Mostly because he is a good coach and a pretty decent human. He wasnt a good fit here at Illinois but Im glad he is having some success.

I'll root for KSU, but think Loyola may be the better team overall. If they get a good shooting night, they are tough.

Bruce, Chester, and KSU!

However, if Loyola wins, they will become my favorite remaining team.

I guess I am just PO’d that BW, in his 6th (?) year at KS can do what he could not do at UIUC in the same time frame.

Am I just a bad person?

No, you're not. I'm not rooting for him because I'm jealous that he's now successful, and couldn't sustain any level of success here.

Either he is a better coach now or he has access to better players at KSU that at Ill. I can’t figure our how either is possible.

BW is not doing as great at K St as a few here want to think. The 4 seasons before this one, 20-13, 15-17, 17-16, 21-14. Pretty Bruce-like.

In this tournament got lucky and faced UMBC and not UVA. UK and not Arizona. And now Loyola and not Cincinnati.

GO Wildgrills! Or Ramblers! Either way it is fun!

Aside from this unprecedented fluky tourney run, his results at K State with his own players pretty much mirror his results with his own players at Illinois.

No jealousy, no ill will, but you are right, KSU is on the receiving end of 5he once in a lifetime UMBC upset.
