This is where I'm at.

Purdue - can help change the narrative around the B1G. Painter seems like a decent guy, and so do the kids on that team.

Gonzaga - Roger Powell and to a much lesser extent Stephen Gentry. They have also never quite made it to the top of the mountain. I think Mark Few has built his program relatively ethically, and has been extremely loyal to his University and his players. He's the kind of guy you want as your HC.


Sooooo many teams left in this field that are easy to hate....

Houston is going to need to hit way more first-chance shots to win against Zona. They aren't going to get nearly as many offensive rebounds.

Rooting for Purdue. or Gonzaga. I'd be good with Villanova or Texas Tech (would be awesome to see the team Chris Beard left win the title the next year). Providence would be good, too.

Rooting HARD against Michigan. Don't want Arkansas or Duke to win.

And if St. Peter's wins, it would be glorious. But I'm skeptical.

It’s all about my bracket (and ruining on people’s brackets in my pool), so tonight I’m rooting for:

Gonzaga
Texas Tech
Arizona
Michigan

And tomorrow I’ll be rooting for;

UCLA
St Peter’s
Kansas
Miami (game actually won’t impact my pool, but I like Laranaga)

I don't really have an affinity for any of the teams left. I guess Texas Tech and Purdue would be the top of my list, but I have a good buddy that is a Purdue grad. I don't need him getting any cockier.

This is a good matchup…guy I work with was Jay Wright’s college roommate…one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met and he says the same about Wright.

tl;dr - Boiler Up for me.
-It's good for PU's chances to advance to get St. Peter's, but unfortunately those are the two teams I'd like to see win out at this point.
-Hunter Dickinson is really testing my philosophical stance on rooting for the B1G postseason.
-I'm not a Miami fan but I do like Charlie Moore.
-I've got Arizona winning it all and Arkansas runner up in my Final Four, and that's the only slim chance that I have at winning some tourney pool dollars.
-Wouldn't mind seeing Houston win it, Sampson be damned, just to say UI lost to the eventual winner.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all. My list is who I’d like to see win, not who I expect. Although as long as Nova wins I’ll happily give up the other 3!!
