Musselman looks like a slimy life insurance salesman.

So how soon will Mark Few be on the hot seat.. He just can't coach, no defensive changes after the first half. Poor substitutions and game plans lacked execution. I say he is on his last legs at Gonzaga................../s

Hey, Gonzaga lost which I wanted. Bad weather outside but good weather inside because of that. Down with Few and the Bulldogs Every. Single. Year. I'm not nearly as enamored by the Zags as some are here.

Unpopular opinion, but I want the Big Ten to go as far as possible each NCAA tournament. Sucks that Michigan lost.

This made me laugh so hard. Thanks for the uplift.

I have this jealousy thing. I don't want anyone else to win their first NCAA title until after we win ours. Hence, I always root for the Blue Bloods once we get elminated. UCLA gets my vote this year. Who cares if they win a 12th?!!!

DUKE - I don't like coach K. No coach/team deserves eight 5-stars on the roster. It detracts from "coaching"
KANSAS - cheaters

And no way Purdue or Michigan!!!!

The Zags have won more tournament games than anyone since 2015. Incredible record. Anyone would love to have their success.
And we've won more conference games than anyone else the past few years. Kind of makes you think, huh?

When did 'the second weekend' become such an end-all-be-all milestone that causes so much more heartache and bragging rights as qualifying for Round 2 or 4? Is it because of the catchphrase 'the second weekend'? Is it because of the layoff between the games? It's Round 3. Good accomplishment. Round 4 is better.

Not really. You were talking about Zag fans discontent about their tournament results the last 2 years. Silly comment on your part. Our fan base could only hope to have their success.

2nd weekend essentially carries with it EXCLUSIVITY on tv. It's great for recruiting.

Sorta like the prime slot we had last Sunday in round 2. We were the only game in town for 3 hours.

The point is that success is measured against expectations. By your argument, our fanbase should be happy, but there are people who clearly are not. The argument falls flat because it doesn't matter that there are others who have performed worse. Zags fans who expected their team to win a title last year or this year aren't necessarily going to care that they've won a bunch of games since 2015, because they still haven't won their final game of the season.

People aren't fully rational. That's the point.

Sorry, but I'm happy to see Gonzaga out. Their level of success has been...annoying. I'd like to see a low seed win it all, however unlikely that may be. St. Peter's would be mind blowing, obviously. If not them, maybe Miami. I could be happy with Purdue winning it, because it would help raise the conference's profile.
