Out of their total 31 points, Houston got 11 second-chance points, and 8 points off turnover. Typical Houston play.
We were only down 2 at 45-47....then the implosion. Closer than Arizona is playing them so far
I just enjoy seeing Sampson angry
Their defense is unreal. Imagine if they still had Sasser to get their offense going..
I also don't want to see Duke gain advantage from the media coverage as they continue in the tournament, reminiscent of media coverage for Williams in 2005, Olson in 2001, and Pitino in 2013.

Their defense is so impressive. Every player locked in and giving 110% effort and scrapping for every loose ball.
Weird foul call against HOU at end of half. Looked like ref was watching the play, called foul on rebound, then changed to shooter due to that foul happening after time expired

It's almost like predictive metrics like KenPom, Torvik, etc. are reasonably accurate...

I thought KenPom was an outlier (on the high side) for Houston.........as least as compared to NET.
However, it looks like Ken knows something that the NCAA doesn't.
I always root against blue bloods. They already sell the narrative that you have to play there to win championships.
I like teams that prove championship programs can be built anywhere.
Well, #1 in KenPom just lost to #17. And only 2 of the top 4 are still in. So while it says something, not something enough to be predictive. I'll definitely be paying way more attention next year just looking for teams that fit the same profile for bracket and gambling purposes.
Kerr krissa pretending to gag himself on the way to the bench is probably not the sideline footage the NCAA was hoping for.

Houston's effectiveness against this Arizona frontcourt is impressive.

This Houston team is so good.
This Houston Arizona game has an eerily similar flow to it as our game against Houston did.
Houston has a suffocating defense and overall intensity that just seems to wear on teams mid way though the second half.

Impressive. Doing to ariz what they did to Illinois. Watching to see what adjustments ariz has, but not seeing any.
Most effective was to pick and roll, pass to the roller and then pass to a third option; that looks was typically good. And drive to the basket, straight line with bigger players. But Houston seems to have adjusted to that now.
