Were the locations based on seeding?
I actually have no idea ... that could make sense, as #2 Houston and #3 Illinois were the two higher seeded teams. However, I also feel like they might not split up a single game (e.g., VCU beats us and Houston still has its section behind their bench, but then Nebraska's section is behind the VCU bench making only one side look empty?

Really wish there was a smooth way to at least make the core fan sections get to be behind their benches for both games, but I'm sure the switching is more hassle than they want to deal with.

I believe the higher seed gets home bench. So on ticket apps I think "Rockets" is our bench for this game. But not 100% sure

We chose our seats based on this.

I believe this is accurate. The confusion is how they assigned ticket blocks. It looked woefully empty on TV for the Nebraska/Iowa game and deceptively very crowded for Illini game.

Took Duke in my survivor - either I move on or can be extremely happy them getting knocked out

Maddy’s tired too. She had to get up at 5am and do cat things. But she’s a trooper.

I don't have Illini gear for these little ones yet. 2.5 week old Great Dane pups. Look at how mean that one is to her sister :ROFLMAO:

I understand the appearance you describe on TV but having been there it was much more crowded for the Iowa/Nebraska game. Especially considering the second halves of each game.

Houston Red and Illini Orange. Took a while for me to realize the Red fans were not Illini

If the Nebraska Iowa game had been after our game I think you have a full stadium for our game

We are on the doorstep of the Final Four and are favored to beat Iowa to get there... at this point, I am rooting for the other top teams to lose, so give me:

St. John's
Michigan State
Alabama
Iowa St. <-- Only because they stand a better chance than Tennessee of beating Michigan and/or Arizona
Illinois vs Duke
Iowa State vs Arizona
Illinois vs Arizona
Illinois wins natty

This is my preferred path for monetary reasons — who wouldn’t want to turn five bucks into two grand. But I will accept any path that ends with the beloved winning it all.

Imagine the redemption tour with S16 d. Houston, FF vs MSU and NC vs scUM.

Iowa a weigh station that we have to meet the requirements to pass.
I know we’re just fans, not the players, but we can’t assume anything against Iowa.

Not that I’m surprised, Duke keeps getting call after call.

11? How? I've had them for 25 years and haven't had a single one make it to 10...granted each has made it to 9.
Sorry @Dan, I hope the adorable puppies make the thread placement ok?
We’ve been lucky/blessed. Had her stomach tacked as a pup to prevent twisting. And we use those slow eat maze bowls to slow her down when she devours her food. Loves her (and everyone else’s) food!

9 made 3s in the 1st half for St. John's.

They're 281st in 3pt shooting rate and 218th in 3pt shooting %.

If they shoot like that, they're so much dangerous.
