My bad, I thought you were talking about a different play.Chuckle. Yes, that is what would trigger the jump ball call; but the 'Nova player stumbled and slid on the floor before that, with his feet sliding along the floor with him.

Banchero asked whether he wanted to play UNC again (last time he preferred UNC, and VT beat UNC and then Duke in the final), and he answered: "you're not gonna get me this time."
I literally laughed out loud.
Bill Walton and the conference of champions. Is there a prominent color commentator less insightful than Bill Raftery?
Since Syracuse joined the ACC , and Duke played them at least 2 times a year, Coach K has incorporated some zone.Notice Duke threw in a zone in 2nd half. Haven't watched them all year, but guessing that was a rarity. Good example of switching things up, doing the unexpected from time to time in the tourney. That was a hot topic many posters like me were hoping we'd see from BU. Still hope we do in future tourneys.
One reason might be that, if you play a team that uses a zone (all the time), you need to practice against a zone. So you would run a 2-3 Syracuse zone in your practices. At some point, you might then incorporate your practice squad's zone into the set of defensive strategies that you have your team employ in games.Since Syracuse joined the ACC , and Duke played them at least 2 times a year, Coach K has incorporated some zone.
I agree. And the kid is likable: openhearted and old school. I will definitely pick him over Chet and Smith if I am the NBA manager with 1st pick. Can never root for Duke but Banchero is the best player in College basketball by a considerable amount IMO.
I’m not sure how he’s not the consensus number 1 overall pick yet. He’s the total package. Has some Lebron in his game with his size, moves, scoring, and ability to read the floor. Those are the tools of a superstar. Chet and Jabari are good but they have the tools of complementary players who aren’t number 1 options on teams. Can never root for Duke but Banchero is the best player in College basketball by a considerable amount IMO.
Holmgren is a project...he will be a rag doll in NBA next year.I’m not sure how he’s not the consensus number 1 overall pick yet. He’s the total package.
