NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 Day 1

2 Alabama vs 6 BYU - 6:09pm, CBS
1 Florida vs 4 Maryland - 6:39pm, TBS

1 Duke vs 4 Arizona - 8:39pm, CBS
3 Texas Tech vs 10 Arkansas - 9:09pm, TBS

So how do we handle this Willard stuff? I had them in my Final Four but I don’t think I can play them with good conscience tonight in my pick ‘em pool.

This rhetorical but do you think Florida would have played a 10 loss Mountain West team (Colorado State) that closely?

Also worth noting that the game is in California, and Maryland is 0-2 in Pacific time this year...

Rhetorically no I don't but I'm trailing and need to pick upsets to get back in it. Also I feel all four games can be won by the lower seeds tonight. Even Arizona over Duke.

My buddy in his survivor pool is picking Tech and Alabama. Wants to save Florida and Duke for E8 and F4.

I told him it’s risky…. Could see both losing tonight.

Watching Alabama vs BYU and their offenses are so much better than ours with ball movement.

While nothing is a categorical outcome....there is little chance that the Wildcats can win against Duke...unless Love goes off from the arc for a 12 for 15 night...or better. This bit of valuable information is from an Arizona alum but Illini hoops fan.

I didn't say anything about how good they were shooting o ly how good the ball movement is. They could have missed every shot but the movement would have still been great.

Florida with 13 TO's in first half and Condon out last part of first half with turned ankle. Not sure he can come back and be effective. Even with all that, Gators up 2 at half

Sears with 25 and Bama up 16 early in the 2nd half. Sears is 7 for 10 from 3!

Alabama's best is as good as any of the 1 seeds best. They just didn't show it as often during the season.
