No question Loyola plays good defense. I just feel Illinois could have held them under 60 by mixing up defenses. A 65-60 type of win would have been possible

Watching this game so far it's clear we didn't defend them the right way. Playing off of Krutwig was such a mistake. OSU is all over Krutwig every time he gets the ball. We should have played up on him and running a second guy on him.

It's not really an adjustment if your team plays 33% of your defense in a zone on average. As much as I wanted underwood to go zone, it's understandable that he didn't because our team never played zone.

Oregon State is also bigger 1-4 than we were. Their zone is a better zone than we would be able to play. We had some personnel issues in the match up with Loyola.
