Technically he's right but they never call that play and wouldn't have the cojones to call it in a situation like that.

Of course, the clowns on the CBS show can't bring themselves to even mention Illinois versus gushing over Hurley- who makes me want to hurl whenever I hear him speak. As if it's a foregone conclusion that they will beat us- just like they discussed before the Houston game.

What made that play dumber was that Virginia had a timeout left.
The Boozer pass made sense (2 open players and time would all but run out), but was poorly executed, and in hindsight was a dumb decision.
That's a nice way of describing him.

How is the boozer play dumb? Two wide open teammates. UConn didn’t have anybody past half court.
If he just held it… well, there’s still 6 seconds left with two guys beating down on you for the ball.
The Clarke play is a different story. Don’t know what he was thinking.

It's dumb because 2 made FTs make it a 2 possession game. And if you have any stones as a shooter....you take the foul and go make them. JMO.
