Except at the free throw lineAlabama's shots are so flat and laser-like

That Quinerly on Alabama reminds me of a better finisher than Curbelo, but that guy can sure get to the rim.So Michigan is an 11 seed win away from their 3rd FF in 8 years
You and me both.UCLA up 11 at the half on Alabama. Can't believe PAC12 will have 3 in final 8 if UCLA holds on.
I watched maybe 25 NCAA games a week this past season. Always watch the BIG Ten and then, since I live in the West, a PAC 12 game to finish the evening. I never believed that the PAC12 was near the caliber this year as the BIG Ten. I guess I was dead wrong!
Thing with them is you need someone to get them in a close game. In all honesty I think Illinois would have been the only team to do so against them.Yes, Gonzaga looked very good -- again. Hard to imagine them having much trouble with Oregon (Mark Few's alma mater) or USC.
It is interesting how March works out. I have always said the NCAA tournament does not tell you who the best team is. Sometimes it works if Gonzaga plays Baylor that would be the best two teams. A couple upsets changes a region.Michigan bracket was to be the toughest and turned into the easiest. Even had we advanced we still would have had to play the #2 seed in our bracket. Although I think the Illini played much better against teams that were close to there level vs teams they were better than.
Great point... Seems like Missouri Valley teams always get underseeded pretty bad. Northern Iowa several times, Wichita State several times, Bradley as a 15 seed in 2019 and played Michigan State tough... Just sucks when you have to play one of them in that situation. It is interesting how March works out. I have always said the NCAA tournament does not tell you who the best team is. I hope someday Illinois gets lucky and have to beat a 11 or 12 to advance to the final four. Instead we get stuck playing one of the best 8 seeds in recent memory Which was a lot like Kentucky playing Witcha St a few years back. I think this year was the worst seeding jobs I have seen. Covid had a huge impact or there are only a few dominant teams. I don’t know
We gotta shut up now. Honestly nothing we can say against them and it KILLS me.So Michigan is an 11 seed win away from their 3rd FF in 8 years
If the Zags go undefeated, should they be considered among the greatest college teams of all time? They'd be the first since Indiana 1976. I still don't see them as a super team but maybe because it still doesn't seem like a normal season especially with all the bluebloods not even making the tourney
I agree they shouldn't be considered among the greatest college teams of all time because of their schedule (and the eye test) but if they win out they will have played one more game then that that '76 Indiana team. Not in my opinion. A handful of tough games in the preseason and tough teams from the E8 forward absolutely make them very legit. But hard to say among the best ever when playing 20ish games in a cream puff conference rather than a P5 where on any given night you can absolutely be beat if you don’t play your best.
True but the Mobley brothers are insane.Funny how Oregon doesn't look nearly as good when Iowa isn't defending them.
But 7 of Gonzaga's wins were Quadrant 4.I agree they shouldn't be considered among the greatest college teams of all time because of their schedule (and the eye test) but if they win out they will have played one more game then that that '76 Indiana team.
USC hired their Father as a coach.True but the Mobley brothers are insane.

When ones a top 30 recruit and the other is a top 3 NBA draft pick, it was worth it.USC hired their Father as a coach.
Just wish that Deron and Luther were able to hit a 3 pointer each in the finals 2:32 in the championship game vs UNC and I would be good for eternity. It is interesting how March works out. We can still say something about that. There is nothing that can change that.We gotta shut up now. Honestly nothing we can say against them and it KILLS me.
Not even beating the brakes off them this year or all of the “ducking us” talk. We have nothing.
3/2/21. There are lucky breaks every year in the tournament and it remains to be seen how far scUM will go. Still doesn’t change that early March beat down.We gotta shut up now. Honestly nothing we can say against them and it KILLS me.

Yes, and wasn't an assistant coach dating their mother?USC hired the Mobley brother's father as a coach.
