That doesn't make it any more accurate. People and their conspiracy theories these days... it's gotten out of hand.
Not all theories are "conspiracy theories" as in 'wild, baseless and out of left field'.

I actually thought it had some merit.

Was the TSJ story unpalatable enough the Committee would far prefer it not be part of the FF? - Oh Yes

Would the Committee prioritize trying to keep said story out of the FF? - I very much doubt it

But there's a big difference between prioritizing it and having it be a factor in the decision making.
Might it have factored into UI's bracket placement? - mayhaps

I really don’t like how CBS and NCAA televised the tournament and this goes beyond this year

Games shouldn’t go to midnight and shouldn’t last 3 hours. Understand you want the West coast but the East struggles staying up

Other sporting events Masters and World Cup are multiple day sporting events that don’t let commercials ruin it. Get your major advertisers and have their logos all over the place probably better than same commercial over and over

The men’s and women’s tournaments need to be separated by at least two weeks.

Seeding should be done straight S curve. Don’t care if you are in same conference or other restrictions. BYU should be told if they want to participate games can be played on Sunday. Their choice. Their players have no problem playing Sunday in the NFL

Those are my major issues

There is absolutely zero evidence to suggest that to be the case.

It's ridiculous.

I am all in now for the Boilers. I spent a year there many moons ago, so they’re my definite ‘other’ team.

Not that anyone cares, but these two teams, Purdue and Tenn., represent the two Illini opponents that impressed me the most. But Purdue must hit threes to win against elite teams...and they are not at the moment. But they have five very good to elite shooters surrounding and exceptional big man and go with it. Tenn., OTOH, is more balanced and can not only shoot threes but can move, pass, and finish at the rim. Quite a contract between the two, but unless the Boilers catch the Illini disease and go ice cold for an hour, they will likely win....but I am not saying that with any degree of confidence.

Eh, who would you rather see win a championship, Matt Painter or Dan Hurley? I am going for Purdue. Don't really strongly dislike any of their players except Loyer.

Rooting for N.C. State is a no-brainer.

Someone mentioned this above, but playing the men's and women's NCAA tournaments on the same days and having them compete against each other for viewers is dumb. I think N.C. State's men and women were even playing at the exact same time this week in the Sweet Sixteen.

Do you really want Purdue to have a natty before Illinois? UConn is already pretty much a modern blue blood and it would take the sting out knowing that we lost to the team that won the chip.

Unpopular or not, I really want to see the Purdue-UConn matchup. Want to see how it plays out with the bigs especially.

Honestly, having Purdue win before Illinois doesn't really bother me, though I am not surrounded by Purdue fans or anything out here in Spokane. Illinois will get there at some point. And ending the Big Ten title drought is actually something the conference needs.

But yeah, I admit I am super bitter about UConn right now. Just think Purdue has the best chance to beat them... but, uhh, they have to beat Tennessee first.

For me, Danny Hurley has entered the top 4 of most-disliked coaches. Pearl, Knight, and K are the other three.

There's a huge difference between someone like Izzo and Danny. Yes, Izzo is whiny. I know there were also some storm clouds around MSU's program a few years ago as well. But I've never thought Izzo is just an outright a**h****. I absolutely think that about Danny. I have very, very little patience for the wicked cominbation of arrogance and insecurity that Danny possesses. Yes, you're a great coach. We don't need you to tell us that and to behave like a petulant toddler when Dad doesn't give you your favorite toy.

Edey has 19, but Purdue 1/8 from three. That is the formula to beat Purdue - stop the three. Tennessee down 2 despite shooting 37%.

Only online would I ever talk to a Purdue fan. I think I've run into 1 person who is a Purdue fan in my 38 years of living in Central Illinois. (Springfield then Peoria area)
One of our good friends got her BS in engineering from Illinois, then her MS from Purdue because her dad went there. She pulls for the Boilers for that reason. I'll never hear the end of it from her.
Wish everyone could get on this train #GoBoilers - but i get it
I love his mentality, but I'm petty af. At least I'm aware of my shortcomings? 🤷🏼‍♀️

It's strange how opinions can change situationally. I find myself rooting for Purdue here because I'm tired of the lack of respect for the B1G. I don't think they can beat UConn any more than anyone else, but I think they have the best chance of anyone left, and I would enjoy seeing Edey and Clingan do battle inside.

Also, nothing I've ever seen from Purdue fans can compete with the arrogance I've seen from UConn fans lately. I would love to see somebody pop their balloon.

We all have viewpoints, some quite abstract. But another is that I would rather see Purdue win....as the Illini gave them all they could handle twice....plus I like B1G basketball.

If they were to play UConn for the title, the outcome would depend totally on whether Purdue is able to hit from the arc consistently at a high percentage....and they are not doing that against Tenn.

Painter has surrounded Edey, an elite interior shooter, with superior out-court shooting. That is smart from and offensive standpoint, but is risky against teams with solid interior play....like Tenn....who is also doing a pretty good job from the arc. This game will likely go to the buzzer if one of them does not go off big time from the arc.

I'm in Indiana and I'm surrounded by Purdue fans. I'd rather Uconn win. At least there aren't many of their fans here.
