A big playing 39 minutes is amazing in itself.
I wanted Purdue to win today. And even in the next round. But no NC before IL. UConn will beat them I have little doubt.

I only want to see it if Edey loses
I know it won't happen but would prefer to see Alabama vs NC State, with NC State winning. I"m an illini fan but liked Jim Valvano.
I’m suddenly a huge Purdue, and to a lesser extent, Duke fan. Makes me sick to my stomach, but with Illinois out I’m 100% Team Wallet.

I hope we can pick up defensive big in the portal... I know guys like Edey and Clingan will not be available but we need a 6'10+ 250lb plus guy with reasonable mobility. You can get through a successful season, and a couple rounds in the tourney without a good defensive 5, but if if your goal is the final four you will meet an Edey or Clingan in later rounds. Coleman was easily moved around by Clingan and Dain could not get high enough to challenge him.

Not sure where to put this, but the open line for UCONN/Alabama game is UCONN -12 and -715 ML. That is crazy for a final four game. Unless Alabama goes crazy from 3, it seems like a guarantee that UCONN covers. They are that good right now.

I hope Edey gets a flu bug and is too big of a wus to play through it. He simply decides not to play in the title game and Purdue fans finally realize he’s a crybaby.
Meanwhile almighty UConn plays the worst game of their life and still lose.
That way: Edey loses, UConn loses, Hurley loses…UConn fans lose…but Painter wins.

At this point, I think I want Purdue to take UConn in the final because they are less insufferable than Dan Hurley.
