I don't get how people have Michigan rated ahead of us now that they have had the defections they've had.#15 National and #2 BIG

I prefer the per player ranking, which I note we are higher on at 96.05 to Michigan's 94.80, especially when the difference is one middling 3* player, as opposed to one team having 4 guys and the other having 1 or 2. In this case the difference is Howard's #350 ranked kid, who was a walk-on before others defected.Large part has to do that they have one more player in their class. Say we hypothetically get a guy like Etienne or Weston to commit and reclass, a rough estimate would move us to #5 nationally and #1 in the big ten. I estimated this by adding a player with as close to the same composite rating as either player that I could find into our class using their "Class Calculator".
Volume is less value than superior individuals unless you are replacing the whole team. MSU has a better class than Michigan per the ratings.I prefer the per player ranking, which I note we are higher on at 96.05 to Michigan's 94.80, especially when the difference is one middling 3* player, as opposed to one team having 4 guys and the other having 1 or 2. Odd... No 5-stars in the B1G

I thinkk Howard would trade his class for our class in a minuteSo, no, I would definitely rate our class higher than Michigan despite the fact that they go an extra kid rated #350.
