I don't think its Loyola at all . If I had to pick I would say its his shot that has him falling this far the NBA is love with athleticism and three point chucking from its guards

The more tape on you the worse, thats why all these kids handlers tell them to leave ASAP or go to the G league and coast so they revisit their high school tape.

I joked a couple years ago the key is to train a kid privately non stop then put him in organized ball at 15 so on his draft profile it says "didn't start organized basketball until 15" and the draft guys gush about him being a baby deer just trying to walk on the court.

Two players from the BigTen as the winner and runner up for National Player of the Year! Neither listed as top players available and neither get picked in the first round! Disgraceful!

You start to wonder why anyone plays in college at all at this point, or even stays beyond a year. It's all potential now.

Ayo does a lot of things really, really well, which makes him a winner. However, he doesn't jump off the page with any particular skill set. He's not overly athletic and he doesn't shoot the ball exceedingly well.

Ayo is Ayo because he's really tough and really gritty. Those are admirable things, but they aren't measurables and that's what the first round is based on.

Hopefully he falls to the Bulls.

Hope he makes it to my Bulls now! Ayo can take over the house that Mike built! United Center!

I think so the Pacers worked out Ayo liked him and then took 24 yr old Duarte the shooter
Duarte is a good player. The head scratchers are the guys that were drafted purely on potential. I would have been good with the Pacers taking Ayo, though. That's the closest team to me. Not a bad drive.

That is complete BS! I frickin hate the NBA now. Triple-double ability, except Ayo is the one with triple-doubles.

“Almost beat Illinois at Assembly Hall” is the dagger in the heart we all needed as Illini fans.

Preston (that Ohio U. guard who kicked our butts and almost pulled off the upset at Assembly Hall) --- now also drafted ahead of Ayo. And he has no outside game.

BULLS. United Center. Playing at home in Chicago. Sounds like the perfect fit!

Do the Bulls really need a shooting guard?
