Neither, I thinkWhat would a 38th pick's contract look like? Does he get a nice signing bonus and guaranteed money?

Being from Toronto, as well as the first Canadian ever drafted by Toronto, couldn't have hurt...Honest question for everyone...
Did ANYBODY have the Nebraska dude Blanton getting drafted????
That tells me all I thought about the mentality of nba GM's is correct
Dummies...
need that jersey/shirt now
Yeah I know that but after watching him play a couple years in the B1G , I doubted he was B1G material.Being from Toronto, as well as the first Canadian ever drafted by Toronto, couldn't have hurt...
This!Ayo to the Bulls! LFG!!!
With the early call !No way he falls to 41. IMHO. I think the Bulls would be thrilled if he’s at 38
Ayo might learn a thing or two from Maurice Cheeks, another Chicago-bred second-round pick.
Yeah, seems that if you're 50% of another player but 3 years younger, teams will value the youth over one's ability in the moment. Biggest head scratcher was Josh Primo at #12. I know the Spurs have been the model dynasty for years but that feels like the biggest reach I've seen in years. This is awesome for the Bulls and Ayo! The NBA draft is so weird, some of the guys being picked ahead of him were a bit of a head scratcher. Wagner being a lotttery pick and Ayo and Aaron Henry being second rounders doesn’t make much sense to me. I’ve just never understood the hype behind Wagner.

It varies quite a bit by pick but it seems the top half second rounders have been getting 2-4 years with a couple years guaranteed -with AAV ranging from NBA minimum ~925K to $1.6M per yearWhat would a 38th pick's contract look like? Does he get a nice signing bonus and guaranteed money?
I agree it’s hard to understand from a pure basketball standpoint- but it is driven by the fact that analytics has taken over in basketball now like a lot of other sports. Teams are projecting based on athleticism and measurable who will be good in the league- look no further than the Bulls pick of Patrick Williams last year- he wasn’t a big time HS recruit (top 50ish), didn’t start at FSU but was the 4th pick in the draft purely from what the analytics saidI'm so thrilled he went to the Bulls.
I'm even more curious why he fell, hoping to get some insight as to what teams were thinking. 38 is just too low.
