I know ther are those who don't agree with me, but I really love the whites with Illinois in script on them.
Based on all the twitter responses to that question in the uni reveal, I'd say not anytime soon.

1) I think we should rock "FIGHTING ILLINI" on those orange ones, too, and leave only white as the "ILLINOIS" ones. JMO.
2) Will we ever get the blue "FIGHTING ILLINI" throwbacks?? Maybe we will save them for an NCAA Tournament game?

To echo my earlier post, I really hope we have a blue throwback to bust out in March!
When I asked the athletic department about availability of the throwback jerseys for sale, it was stated that it was a Nike call and not to expect them this year.

Update since Feb 18: We won in our whites (Nebraska), orange throwbacks (@ Northwestern), and white throwbacks (Indiana). We lost in the blues (@Ohio State).
White: 6-0
Orange: 5-1
Blue: 1-5
White Throwback: 4-2
Orange Throwback: 4-2
Think we need to get #BurnTheBlues trending.
I like us wearing the blues on the road against teams who's primary color is red.

I would generally agree, however the numbers don't lie. We're not good in them this year.
This shouldn’t (key word there) matter though as any team we play SHOULD be wearing their home whites or greys or whatever.
