I'm ridiculously pleased that only the media voted Dickinson in, while it was coaches who presumably have a better grasp on the game that put in TSJ. Good for him!
So the coaches team plays 5 while the media team starts 6???
A bit surprised Edey is on there honestly.
Team reads like they simply took the best steals/blocked shots guys and thats it. SMH
He's 3rd in the country in rebounds. If you don't get the rebound, you don't get the stop. Pretty easy selection IMO.

There should be some sort of formula where the coaches and media have their votes put together. Having 2 lists is dumb.

My opinion is cohawk shoulda got 3rd team .............This snub should be the impetus for him to return to the Illini next year and play his arse off for a 1st team spot and set himself up for a draft selection next year............

Getting a first team guy and a third team guy is pretty good for our record. If we win a couple of games more then I'm sure cohawk would have been 3rd team.

I do feel bad for Epps. There was a 4-6 week stretch where he was one of the best freshman in the league. Then he hit a shooting slump and got hurt.
