First team prediction:

Edey
Shannon
Boo Buie
Jahmir Young
Braden Smith

5th guy is the hard one. I think the first 4 are pretty straight forward

While not gospel, I've seen a lot of online media all big ten lists that don't have TSJ on 1st team. Some don't have him listed on any teams. So I'm on edge slightly right now.

Are these voted by media or coaches?

Way to go TSJ and MD! Knowing nothing about which is more prestigious, I think it says more to be the coaches' pick - they're the ones that had to try to coach, scheme, and motivate a team against you.
Coaches is always more prestigious in this one. They all play against you and develop game plans against you. They don't get swayed by the hype the media does. If they vote you 1st team it's because they all absolutely hated playing against you and respect your game. That said, any 1st team all B10 selection is a big honor.

They didn't mention Underwood for COY when they went to commercial. I didn't have much hope (and now have even less) even though he is deserving.

Wow. They don't normally like putting teammates on the 1st team, but Marcus and Braden are very deserving. I like putting them both in over Walker but didn't expect it. Cannot be happier for Marcus- what an honor.
The B1G was a 2 team league by the end of the year, and the selections reflect that. Jahmir Young was a "Maryland should have been way better than they were" pick.

Bardo picked Minnesota coach as coach of the year.
Had Minnesota not lost 4 of their last 5, I think Johnson should get a lot of accolades. They were expected to be 13th or 14th in the B10 this year and put in really respectable performances game in and game out. Had they gone just 3-2 in their last 5, finishing tied for 5th in the B10, I think there is a very good argument for him vs Hoiberg and Painter. But as it is, no.
