Two games in Eugene. I'll be there! :illinois:
Samesies. Who’da thunk my next trip to see the Beloved would be a scant five miles?

BB had better start killing it on the recruiting trail to compete with the likes of Oregon - so as not to embarrass us in front of our green-clad friends. Maybe I should proactively order a “Wait till basketball season” shirt!

In 2024 Illinois plays arguably the best team in the B1G and Michigan too
In 2025 Illinois plays two out of three best teams in the B1G plus Ohio State

We need to rise to the occasion. As competition in the SEC intensified, traditional doormats got better - Kentucky, Miss St, Ole Miss excepting only Vandy. I look for the same in the Big Ten. More top players will want to be in the B1G and we just need to get our fair share.

Wow guys, Memorial Stadium fire was contained, you can give us more than 13 home games in 3 years.
Isn't that about right, 9 conference games divided by 2 gives you 4.5 home games per year, times 3 years gives you 13.5 expected home games in three years ? And we should still get a couple non-con games at home every season

IOW, each school will still have about 6 home games per year, right? I don’t see how any other outcome is possible or desirable.

if we have 10 conference games, we would then have 2 non cons against G5 or the like schools that we would have home games with
2 + 5 = 7
zero need for non cons against any other P4 schools if you are playing the B1G conf schedule
