At this point I just want them to lose out. Would love to have Sissy Izzy watching the dance from his couch. IMO that is the best outcome at this point. I would love to destroy them in the BTT but that would require them to win in order to face us. I would also be a bit concerned that DMW would get ejected for the rest of the season for dirt rolling their entire team.
Makes sense and can see that too.

If Indiana loses at Purdue, then Indiana locks up the #10 seed, which means MSU can only have the 8 or 9 seed, no matter how any other game comes out. That, in turn, means we cannot meet MSU before the tournament final. If Indiana wins at Purdue and MSU loses at home to Michigan, then MSU gets the 10 seed and we have a chance of playing them on Friday.

I honestly don't know or even care who Illinois plays in their first B1G. I feel pretty darn good about whoever it is.

With the 2 seed, Illinois will play at 5:30 CT on Friday. That will mark the furthest into the BTT that Illinois has played since 2010 (they've made the QFs 4x since then but were eliminated before the 2 seed played).

Wow.

I'm still an eternal optimist about this tournament every year because of the Cory Bradford team in 1999.

I hadn't realized it had been that long since seeing much success. Makes sense though.

Another fun fact, the last two times there have been BTTs, Illinois has been bounced by Iowa. (Over the past 10 years of BTT, Illinois has lost to Iowa 3x and Michigan 5x)

Wanting to get tickets to Big10 tournament, do we know at least what day or session we play our 1st game?
