That Michigan defensive line was absolutely nasty. Washington gave it everything they had, but no getting around those guys. That's the type of line play I wish we got from our veterans outside of Johnny

Michigan had an excellent team this season. Shenanigans aside, congrats to them. However, given the consistently gigantic size of its athletic budget over the years it's strange that it hadn't won an NC in 26 years, and it had been 49 years before that when it won in '97.
