That tOSU Indiana game felt a lot like when Georgia and Bama played in the SEC Championship and again in the National Championship.

But my worry is the committee will drop tOSU to 4th, putting all 3 B1G schools on one side of the bracket.

Oh, I guarantee they do that. I was already thinking that, Anything to screw over the Big Ten.

the one advantage is that there would be a high chance at least one team is playing for the championship.

Do you leave out one of the two teams who made the SEC championship game, and who played arguably one of the toughest schedules in the nation, including UGA twice, Okla, Vandy, Tenn, LSU and Mizzou?
Do you leave out 2-loss ND whose singular marquee win was USC at home?
Do you leave out 2-loss MIA who beat ND?

(I speculate it will be MIA who gets left out, because they played in the lowly ACC where the competition totally sucked.)

letting Miami in gives the ACC an entrant

it’s gonna come down to how much influence the SEC has vs ND .
Bama and ND means more ratings.

The CFP/SEC (which they view as a single unit) is a cornerstone of ESPN's business. They show ACC games too, but for the Worldwide Leader, that's more like when they purchase the rights to air a pickleball tournament.

ND would be favored over all teams not named Indiana or Ohio State (as of yesterday morning)
