Nashville would be a short 3 hour drive for me. Maybe get Mizos in the Music City Bowl. Would be a good turn out.
My wife had an internship in Nashville during college and it's only a ~5.5 hr. drive from CU, so it might be a good draw for many Illini fans in the Midwest and Southeast. If I look at from a destination and ignore the prestige/match-up possibilites, I would like to go to Nashville. The weather in Tampa around New Year is not a draw for me. Nashville would be fun and I think would have the biggest Illini crowd. But, I haven't really tried to analyze the demographics of the fan base. What do others think? Where's @Fighter of the Nightman ?
I speculate NO and NO. We'll get a pretty good look at some of next season's prospective starters.Would Luke play if we are in a bowl game. Same with Jacas.

agree
I don’t expect any of our expected round 1-6 players to suit up for a bowl game . it’s simply not in their best interests.
I get it . I don’t like it , but I get it .
GeeI would imagine Luke plays.
Jacas can go in the top 3 rounds. Luke won't so not sure why he woudln't.

Look might be a 7th round draft pick. He has no reason to play. Gabe definitely should sit out
Assuming we get to 9-3 as expected, I agree 100% with you. This is my also my projection (provided we don't sneak into the CFP with a rash of upsets occurring over the coming month.)Sign me up for 9-3 and a New Year's Eve date with an SEC team in the ReliaQuest Bowl. If you can't make the playoff you want the best bowl game possible and this is it with us being in the Citrus last year. Also that day has a playoff game at night so it's fun to be the one of the lead-ins on a big cfb day.
Right now with 6 in the top 12Oregon at 9 sets up a very sec heavy top of the bracket
Soooooooooooooooooo many of these teams are going to lose at least 1 game over the next 4 weeks.
I'm thinking we were probably like #26 or 27. We'll very likely be in the ranking by the time we play Maryland.I had projected USC, Washington and Iowa between 15-20......all trailing Vandy. Thought we'd be considered at that next tier down AFTER #20...........ahead of all the Group of Five schools and most of the ACC teams as well.
