Is it possible to return to the Citrus Bowl if we finish in front of scUM, UW, and USC? Or does the B10 not send teams to the same bowl in back-to-back years?

If the article I read is correct, UW and USC are still tied in to the old Pac 12 bowls, and will not be competition for Illinois in bowl selections. That likely leaves Illinois, Michigan, and Iowa for the top 3 bowls. I could see a swap from last year with Michigan now going to Citrus and Illinois back in the Reliaquest bowl.

But that would likely mean Iowa to Nashville which they went to last year.
So IMO all three teams will switch spots. Michigan to Citrus, Iowa to Reliaquest and Illinois to Nashville

How about Texas or Oklahoma?

Would love to face LSU and atone for 2001

The ideal matchup is an SEC team with a large fan base, but also a defensive minded team. I trust our offense to manufacture points against a good D, and our defense can be pesky enough to force some mistakes from a mediocre offense.

LSU fits that to a tee. Actually, as I look at Kford ratings, a lot of SEC teams fit that mold.

USC played in that bowl last year. I think there's a good chance they pick Washington this year. Or maybe Oregon if they drop a couple games down the stretch and miss the CFP.
Most likely USC and Washington will play in the Holiday and Alamo bowl’s if they both go 9-3. They are still eligible to play in their former Pac-12 bowl games.

What is the order?
Here is the pecking order:

-Citrus
-Reliaquest
-Las Vegas
-Music City
-Pinstripe
-Rate
-GameAbove Sports

All of the former PAC-12 teams are eligible and obligated to play in the bowl games that had tie-ins to the PAC-12 conference. This would mean that Oregon, Washington, USC, and UCLA should not be taking the spots of the bowls listed above. Oregon likely will make the playoffs and UCLA is likely to not reach 6 wins. That leaves USC and Washington as the teams that would be tied to the PAC-12 affiliated bowls which would include the Holiday, Alamo, Independence and the Sun Bowl’s.

Yup… not to mention the resort fees and paying for parking everywhere.

Yikes. I didn't realize Vegas had gone that nuts. The last time I was there was maybe 8 or 9 years ago (MGM Grand). Things were mostly still pretty reasonable unless you went to the swanky places. Pack a few PBJ sandwiches and BYOB I guess.
