My wife surprised me tonight during halftime of the FAU game with tickets to the Braggin' Rights game. We have season tickets to the Blues and sit on the side where the Blues shoot twice(would be IL section). She didn't realize there are Illinois and Missouri sections and we are right in the middle of the Missouri section. She is a keeper! I just told her to have bail money ready........ :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I assume if you have Blues tickets, you’ve been to Braggin’ Rights?? I can’t go this year with the wife being pregnant, but we went the previous two years. A truly special atmosphere that all Illini fans should experience at least once.

May it N-E-V-E-R leave St. Louis.

Went to my first one around 20 years ago. I tend to average one every couple of years. Missed the last two blowout wins by each team so time to get back.

I can’t go this year with the wife being pregnant, but we went the previous two years.

Congrats!!!

There are Illinois fans in the area but definitely great to hear ILL on every corner when this game is in town. Electric atmosphere

I have only missed it once since I started go in "88. that missed was last year when the roads were so bad. If that happens this year I will just go down a day early. To me it the game of the year. Every Illini fan should experience this at least one in there lifetime.

In 2021 we came down from the Chicago the day of and just stayed one night, but last year we came down the night before and stayed two. The second was WAY more fun, and I would recommend all fans who are able do that!

I will also absolutely swear by this hotel for anyone interested! We have stayed there both years, and I will go back every single year we can attend again (hopefully starting next year). It's beautiful, the location is great, the staff is awesome and it is reasonably priced.

Tons of Illini fans there both years, too! I will also say this about St. Louis that I really respected. If you go to any given event at the United Center, 90%+ of Chicago won't even know or care that it is happening. Conversely, St. Louis hosts much more like Indy, where your average bartender and Uber rider is aware of the event. We had multiple people see our Illini gear and say, "You goin' to Braggin' Rights??" Loved it.

anyone know what side is the Illinois side? Whoever does the marketing for this event needs some serious help. Finding information on this event this year is painful
Wanting to know this as well. Could anyone who's bought tickets through the UofI website say what section you are in?
